Zak Edwards

Zak Edwards is a skilled Security Engineer with extensive experience in infrastructure hardening at Dropbox since March 2022. Previously, Zak worked at Amazon from November 2017 to March 2022 as a Security Engineer, where responsibilities included incident response and automation, along with a role as a Software Development Engineer overseeing features for Prime Video. Prior to Amazon, Zak was a Software Engineer at Microsoft within the Azure Analytics team, contributing to infrastructure reliability, and completed internships at Bloomberg LP focusing on real-time network monitoring and efficiency optimization, as well as a programming lead internship at NASA. Zak holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Applied Discrete Mathematics and Mathematics and Computer Science from Virginia Tech, along with a Master of Science in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering.
