Derrick Wong is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and financial management across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Treasurer and Chair of both the Audit Committee and Nominations Committee for the Drugs for Neglected Diseases Initiative since 2011, Derrick has also held significant roles such as Supervisory Board Treasurer for Fairfood International and Senior Advisor at COHRED. Previous consulting positions at MSF and the Open Society Institute highlight Derrick's expertise in the nonprofit sector. With a history of executive leadership as the Director of Finance and Administration at Human Rights Watch and as Executive Director at Medecins du Monde, Derrick's career spans a range of strategic roles from 1984 to 1993 at Time Warner Inc.
