Richard Whelband

Richard Whelband is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as a Solutions Architect at Druid Software since May 2023. Prior to this, Richard held the position of Head of Customer Solutions at ip.access from May 2014 to May 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing customer solutions in the Americas region. Richard's earlier roles include Director of Business Development at Synergy Wireless Solutions, focusing on customer relationships and strategic growth, as well as LTE R&D Trial Manager at NSN - Nokia Solutions and Networks, where Richard led LTE technology trials in North America. Richard's career also includes experience as R&D Customer Operations Management and Technical Projects Lead. Richard holds a BA (HONS) in Financial Information Systems from Sheffield Hallam University, completed in 1999.
