Adeel Yang, MD

Adeel Yang, MD has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Adeel is the Co-founder and CEO of Dryvebox, a company that aims to grow the game of golf by providing a high-quality, mobile golf experience through their patented mobile golf simulator. Prior to Dryvebox, they served as a General Partner at MAGIC Fund, where they contributed their expertise and connections to the venture capital firm. Adeel also worked as a Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund, combining capital, expertise, and support from Y Combinator alumni.

Before entering the start-up space, Dr. Yang held leadership roles at Philips, where they served as a Business Leader from 2019 to 2021. Adeel played a pivotal role in the company's healthcare offerings. Adeel also co-founded and served as the CEO of Medumo, which was later acquired by Philips. Medumo provided healthcare organizations with an automated patient navigation platform to improve care delivery. Additionally, Dr. Yang co-founded and served as the President of Picmonic Inc, a company focused on helping learners remember information more efficiently.

Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Dr. Yang worked as an Investment Analyst at Research Corporation Technologies, where they analyzed investment opportunities in various sectors. Through their wide-ranging experiences, Dr. Yang has demonstrated leadership, entrepreneurial skills, and a passion for driving innovation in different industries.

Adeel Yang, MD completed their education at multiple institutions. Adeel first attended the University of Arizona from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Economics. Following this, they pursued their passion for medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson from 2009 to 2014, earning their MD degree. Additionally, Adeel also participated in the W18 program at Y Combinator, but the duration and field of study for this experience are not provided.
