Maribel Nava

Maribel Nava is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in legal support and research. Currently serving as a Research Advisor at Dscout since June 2025, Maribel previously worked at Atticus in various roles, including Lawyer Network - CS Specialist, Client Experience Specialist, and Client Experience Associate from November 2022 to June 2025. Prior to that, Maribel was a Legal Assistant at Ayuda, where responsibilities included conducting Know Your Rights presentations and providing administrative support for children in ORR custody. Maribel has also held roles as Latinx Student Coordinator for the Undergraduate Minority Recruitment Program at Harvard University, interned at Centro de los Derechos del Migrante and CARA Pro Bono Project, and worked on participatory urban development with the Secretaria de Integración Social y Urbanizacion. Maribel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Harvard University and has engaged in various study abroad programs in Cuba and Mexico.
