Andrea Sordi, Ph.D. MBA, currently serves as SVP and Head of Global Procurement Indirect, Packaging & Energy at dsm-firmenich, leading a team of 150 professionals globally. Andrea has extensive academic experience as an Adjunct Professor in Supply Chain Management at the University of Tennessee and has held various significant roles in procurement and supply chain management at Mondelēz International and Kraft Foods. With a strong background in strategic sourcing, digital transformation, and supplier collaboration, Andrea has managed substantial financial portfolios, including over $2 billion in procurement spending, and has contributed to organizational change and procurement innovation throughout a distinguished career. Educational credentials include an Executive MBA in Global Supply Chain from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Genova.
