Annemarie Steffl has a strong background in the food industry, with extensive experience in various technical and leadership roles. Annemarie started their career as a Scientific Project Manager at the Technical University of Munich, where they worked from 1992 to 1999. Annemarie then joined Givaudan, a flavor and fragrance company, where they held multiple technical and managerial roles from 1999 to 2010, including Technical Manager and Director of Applications. In 2010, they joined Firmenich as a Vice President, where they held several leadership positions, including Vice President of Creation and Technical Sweet Goods and Beverages, Vice President of Business Unit Sweet Goods / Hot Drinks Europe, and Vice President of EuroTech. Currently, they are working at dsm-firmenich as the Vice President, Head of EuroTech in Taste Texture Health.
Annemarie Steffl completed their Master's degree in Food Science and Technology from the Technical University of Munich. Annemarie later pursued a PhD in Food Process Engineering, with a specialization in Dairy, from the same university. In 2006, they attended IMD in Lausanne for a program in Mastering Technology Enterprise, although no degree was mentioned.
