Dharmesh Smart

Dharmesh Smart has extensive work experience in the fragrance and flavor industry. Dharmesh began their career as a Chemist, performing quality checks and assisting with investigations. Dharmesh then progressed to roles such as Manager Quality and Manager Central Analytical LAB, where they were responsible for specialized testing and troubleshooting fragrance and flavor ingredients. Dharmesh went on to become the DIRECTOR QA_QC and later the DIRECTOR QHSE, overseeing compliance and managing a sophisticated Global Analytical Lab and two plants. Currently, they hold the position of Group Lead at the GLOBAL Central Analytical Laboratory in dsm-firmenich.

Dharmesh Smart completed a LTC degree in Chemistry from VJTI in 1993-1994. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Sc degree in Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, Mumbai University in 1992-1993. Dharmesh also pursued a Bsc degree in LTC from the University of Mumbai in 1990-1994. Dharmesh Smart has additional certifications in various fields such as leadership, feedback, and ISO auditing.
