Pankaj Sharma

Pankaj Sharma has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Pankaj began their career at Citibank India in 1993, where they worked as a Management Associate in the Customer Service Unit. Pankaj later became a Treasury Analyst and Manager at Citibank India before moving on to Citigroup in 1996. At Citigroup, they worked as a Senior Treasury Analyst and later as the Division Market Risk & Treasury Product Manager for LATAM North & South, Central America, and the Caribbean. In 2003, Sharma joined DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund as the Senior Vice President & Head of Risk Management. Pankaj held this role until 2006 when they became the EVP & Head of Business Development & Risk Management. In 2016, they transitioned to the position of Head of Fixed Income Investments and eventually became the Chief Investment Officer of Fixed Income in May 2017. Overall, Sharma has a strong background in risk management, business development, and fixed income investments.

Pankaj Sharma completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology from 1987 to 1991. Pankaj then pursued their Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from XLRI Jamshedpur, graduating in 1993. Additionally, they completed an internship in Image Processing at the Supercomputer Education & Research Centre, Indian Institute of Science in 1990, and another internship in Relational Database Management Systems at Computer Management Corporation in 1989.
