Brandon Baker

Brandon Baker is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the nuclear and automotive sectors. Currently serving as Principal Engineer - Nuclear at DTE Energy since September 2022, Brandon has played a key role in implementing the Inservice Testing Program for Fermi 2 nuclear power station, ensuring compliance with federal safety regulations. Prior to this, Brandon was a Product Development Engineer at Ford Component Sales, successfully leading cross-functional teams in launching over 200 new part numbers for Ford's production. Previous roles include Configuration Engineer at EcoMotors, Senior Product Design Engineer at Cummins, and Engineering Assistant at Belcan Engineering, where Brandon gained a diverse skill set in engineering design, change management, and resource planning. Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Purdue University.
