Dr. Maysa Rashed Ghadeer

Dr. Maysa Rashed Ghadeer has a varied work experience spanning several roles and industries. Dr. Maysa Rashed most recently served as the Head of the Government Communication Office at the General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Dubai Media Incorporated as a Senior Expert in research and studies from January 2013 onward. From March 2009 to December 2012, Dr. Ghadeer held the position of Director in the News and Information Department at The Government of Dubai Media Office. Dr. Maysa Rashed also served as a Member of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates from 2006 to 2010. Before their involvement in government and media, Dr. Ghadeer worked as Head of Communication, Media Relations, and Secretary of the Board at Sama Dubai, and as a Teacher and Head of Arabic Curriculum Language at Etihad Private School from 1998 to 2003.

Dr. Maysa Rashed Ghadeer completed their Bachelor's degree in Arabic Language and Literature at United Arab Emirates University between 1995 and 1999. Dr. Maysa Rashed then pursued a Master's degree in Arabic Language at the University of Sharjah from 2014 to 2016. More recently, from 2018 to 2020, Dr. Ghadeer obtained their PhD in Discourse Analysis with a focus on Arabic Language from AlWasl University.
