Alice Detwiler

Alice Detwiler has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alice currently holds the position of Vice President, Deputy General Counsel at Duck Creek Technologies, which they started in December 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Microsoft for a significant period, holding various positions such as Director of Strategy, Strategic Partnerships and Business Development, Director of Strategy and Business Programs, Senior Attorney in the Products and Services Group, and Senior Attorney in Antitrust. Before joining Microsoft, they worked as an Associate at DLA Piper from 2005 to 2007. Alice also served as an Attorney at the Federal Trade Commission from 2001 to 2003 and as an Associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP from 1997 to 2000. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Deputy Legal Affairs Secretary at the Office of the Governor, State of California, and served as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Charles E. Wiggins at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Alice Detwiler has a JD, magna cum laude from Harvard Law School. Alice also has an AB, cum laude from Princeton University, with a focus on the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
