Brian Hall

Brian Hall is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer II and Director of Engineering at DuckDuckGo since April 2018, Brian has successfully mentored teams, executed architectural projects, and introduced significant features to the search engine. Prior to this, Brian held multiple roles at InVisionApp Inc., including Senior Engineering Manager, where responsibility included overseeing the managers of five teams and collaborating with senior leadership to enhance engineering workflows. Brian's background includes roles at Google, Wicked Ember, and SBH Labs, showcasing a diverse skill set in full-stack engineering and product development, with notable achievements including the creation of content management systems and the development of successful web applications.
