Rendijs Smukulis

Rendijs Smukulis is a Senior Software Engineer at DuckDuckGo since February 2021. Prior to that, they were the Owner of Redrock Consulting starting from January 2018. From January 2018 to February 2021, they served as the Lead Software Engineer at Lightspace Technologies. Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Skyscanner from December 2016 to January 2018. Rendijs also worked as a Software Development Engineer at Ericsson from September 2013 to November 2016. Prior to that, they held roles as a Software Development Engineer II and Software Development Engineer at Microsoft from August 2011 to September 2013 and June 2009 to August 2010, respectively.

Rendijs Smukulis attended the Rigas Valsts Pirma Gimnazija from 2002 to 2006, where they completed their secondary education. Following this, they pursued their higher education at the University of Birmingham from 2006 to 2011. During their time there, they earned a BEng/MEng degree in Software Engineering.
