Tara Gibbs

Tara Gibbs has extensive work experience in various software engineering roles. Tara is currently working at DuckDuckGo as a Senior Frontend Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Kit.com as a Senior Software Engineer, where they contributed to the development of several Vue.js applications and was involved in product research, design, and documentation. Before that, they worked at Input as a Senior Web Developer, where they focused on implementing new features, participating in product design discussions, and documenting processes. Tara also worked as a Software Engineer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and as an Infrastructure Team Lead/Web Developer at ActiveState. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Computational Biologist at BC Genome Sciences Centre, a Web Developer at Cityxpress Corp., a Perl Developer at Interactivetools.com, and a Support Tool Developer at Peregrine Systems and Loran Technologies.

Tara Gibbs obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Cognitive Science from Carleton University, where they attended from 1994 to 2002.
