Marjolein Delhaye

Marjolein Delhaye has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Marjolein is currently employed as a Data Quality Analyst at Duetto since February 2023. Prior to this, they founded their own company, MD Finances, in June 2022.

Before starting their own venture, Marjolein worked as a Consultant at Horwath HTL from June 2021 to September 2022. Marjolein then transitioned to the role of Associate at the same company from October 2022 to February 2023. At Horwath HTL, they gained expertise in hospitality, tourism, and leisure consulting.

In 2020, Marjolein worked at deVere Europe as a Financial Consultant from February 2020 to June 2021. Marjolein was later promoted to the role of Associate, where they offered global financial advice and managed over $10 billion in assets.

Marjolein has also gained experience in the hotel industry. Marjolein served as the General Manager at the Euston Square Hotel from September 2019 to February 2020, overseeing operations and maintaining a high occupancy rate. Prior to this, they held the role of Deputy General Manager at Good Hotels from January 2018 to June 2019, where they were responsible for finance control, operational support, and people management. Marjolein also worked as a Duty Manager and completed a management internship at the same hotel.

Marjolein started their career as a Parttime F&B employee at Hotel Des Indes, a Luxury Collection Hotel, from October 2015 to October 2016. Marjolein also worked as a Parttime employee at Skanna Basics Horeca Uitzendbureau from August 2013 to January 2016. Additionally, they completed an internship at HOTEL BOTÁNICO 5*GL & THE ORIENTAL SPA GARDEN from September 2014 to January 2015.

Marjolein Delhaye obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hotel- en hospitality management from Hotelschool The Hague, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their degree, they have acquired several certifications, including the (RO5) Financial Protection, (R01) Financial Services, Regulation and Ethics, (R04) Pensions and Retirement Planning, and (R02) Investment Principles and Risk certifications from the Chartered Insurance Institute. Marjolein obtained these certifications in 2021, 2020, and 2020 respectively. Furthermore, Marjolein Delhaye holds a Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management Certificate from Cornell University, which they obtained in 2019.
