Sara De Urrutia

Sara De Urrutia has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Sara most recently worked at Duetto as a Global Partnerships Manager, starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they were a Professor of MBA Vatel - International Hotel Management at Vatel Spain since 2016.

From 2019 to 2022, they worked at RateGain as part of the Strategic Account Management - Customer Success team. Before that, they joined PortBlue Hotels & Resorts in November 2018, where they played a key role in redesigning and implementing corporate culture and people strategy to support long-term company growth and sustainability. Sara also held the position of Corporate Business Development Mice at the same company.

Sara De Urrutia has significant experience with Idiso Hotel Distribution, starting in 2008. Sara first took on the role of Culture & Corporate Communications, responsible for strategic communications planning and implementation. Later, they became Business Development EMEA, supporting hotel owners with connectivity to global distribution channels.

Sara'searlier career includes roles at Talonotel S.A. as part of the International Contract and Product team from 2005 to 2008, Panticosa Resort as Sales and Marketing from 2004 to 2005, and Bancotel - Protel S.A. as Customer Care from 2001 to 2004.

Sara De Urrutia has a strong educational background with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Science from UNIR, which they attained from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed a diploma in Tourism at Centro Español de Nuevas Profesiones CENP from 1992 to 1995, specializing in Touristic Companies and Activities. Additionally, Sara has obtained the Elephant Rider | Certificate of Practice from The Emotional Culture Deck in June 2020.
