Amir Melzer

Amir Melzer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and development, primarily in the fields of avionics and robotics. Currently serving as a Senior Research and Development Engineer at Wyss Zurich - ETH Zurich / University of Zurich and a Senior Avionics Engineer at Dufour Aerospace, Amir has also been involved in various roles at ETH Zürich, including Project Lead for projects focused on enhancing UAV capabilities through advanced radar and vision technologies, and Principal Electrical Engineer in charge of electronics and avionics system development. Prior roles include Development Engineer at Schmid & Partner Engineering AG and System and Development Engineer in defense and security for the MoD. Amir holds a Master of Science in Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from HSR Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil.
