Chad Kidd

Chad Kidd has over 23 years of experience in the nuclear energy sector, currently serving as General Manager of Nuclear Engineering at Harris Nuclear Plant for Duke Energy Corporation since January 2000. Previously held positions include Training Manager, Director of Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Oversight Manager, and Senior Reactor Operator. Chad began their career in the nuclear field as a Nuclear Submarine Officer and Instructor in the US Navy from 1992 to 1999, and prior to joining Duke Energy, worked in Programming and Support Services at Perot Systems. Chad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, obtained in 1992.
