Charlene Rubano

Charlene Rubano possesses extensive experience in engineering and management within the energy sector, currently serving as the Fl Protection & Controls Engineering Director at Duke Energy Corporation since July 2012. Previously held various roles at Duke Energy, including Fl Transmission Substation Manager, Fl Transmission Production Standards Manager, and Transmission Business Unit Manager, focusing on software and process standardization. Prior to joining Duke Energy, Charlene worked at Progress Energy as an Asset Performance Manager in Transmission Operations and as an Engineering Supervisor. Charlene earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 1986 and 1994.
