Christopher Burton has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Power Block Gasification Technician at Duke Energy Corporation since June 2022. Prior to this role, Christopher held various positions at Indianapolis Power & Light Company from April 2015 to June 2022, including Shift Leader and Operations Team Leader. Earlier experience includes roles as Control Operator and Auxiliary Operator at Hoosier Energy REC, Inc. from April 2006 to April 2015, as well as serving as a Mortar System Ballistic Computer Operator in the US Army from August 2005 to August 2011. Christopher began a career in the technical field as a service technician at Washington Chrysler Center from January 1998 to October 2005. Christopher holds an Associate's degree in Power Plant Technology from Bismarck State College, earned between 2013 and 2015.
