Eric Chavis

Eric Chavis, PE, is a seasoned professional in the engineering field with extensive experience at Duke Energy Corporation since May 2017, where roles have included Senior Engineer and various engineering positions. Prior to this, Eric worked at UC Synergetic and McGill Associates, P.A., focusing on engineering reports and environmental documents related to community development projects, including water and sewer infrastructure. Previous roles at SNS Engineering and Urban Design Partners involved civil engineering tasks such as site layout design, water distribution modeling, and stormwater calculations. Eric's foundational education includes a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Richmond Community College.
