Jeffrey Hagfors

Jeffrey Hagfors has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Jeffrey started their career in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer from June 1982 to June 1984. Jeffrey then worked as a Sales Arborist at Wachtel Tree Science from July 1998 to October 2012. Following this, they joined Ping's Tree Service, Inc as a Sales Arborist from January 2013 to March 2016. In 2016, they briefly worked as a Consulting Forester at ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANTS, INC from March 2016 to November 2016 before joining Duke Energy Corporation. At Duke Energy Corporation, they have held the positions of Divisional Vegetation Management Specialist since November 2016 and currently serves as the Lead Vegetation Management Program Manager since March 2022.

Jeffrey Hagfors received their Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where they studied from 1984 to 1988. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. In 2015, they became a Board Certified Master Arborist from the International Society of Arboriculture. Jeffrey then obtained the Utility Specialist certification from the same institution in April 2018. Later that year, in December 2018, they became a CTSP Certified Tree Care Safety Professional from the Tree Care Industry Association.
