Stuart Mair

Stuart Mair has a diverse range of work experience. Stuart started their career as a Morning Paper Boy for PRESS AND JOURNAL PUBLICATIONS INC, where they demonstrated dedication, reliability, and strong communication skills. Stuart then worked as a Mechanical Assistant and Machine Operator at Alexander's of Scotland Milladen, where they assisted with machine repair and maintenance and independently operated a wool winding machine.

In 2017, Stuart participated in the Saltire Scholar Programme with Entrepreneurial Scotland, where they completed a mechanical engineering internship with Envision Solar and became an ambassador for the Saltire Programmes. Stuart played a key role in promoting the programs through presentations, speeches, and interviews.

Stuart also worked as a Battery - Sub Team Manager at USEV, where they were involved in designing the battery for the electric car Clyde 2.0 for the Shell Eco Marathon Event. Stuart then pursued a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde from 2014 to 2019. During their time at the University of Strathclyde, Stuart also obtained the Enterprise Pathway Silver Level Certificate from the university in May 2018.

In 2016, Stuart briefly studied at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, where they pursued another Master's Degree in MEng Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, Stuart attended the Turku University of Applied Sciences in 2018, specializing in Mechanical Engineering and obtaining a Master of Engineering - MEng degree.

Stuart has also obtained various certifications and qualifications. In February 2014, they acquired a Clean UK Driver's License from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA). In September 2016, Stuart obtained the PADI Open-water certification from PADI. Stuart then received the Introduction to battery-management systems certification with honors from the University of Colorado Boulder in April 2020. In June 2020, they completed the Introduction to the Internet of Things and Embedded Systems course offered by Coursera. Most recently, Stuart obtained the Equivalent Circuit Cell Model Simulation certification with honors from the University of Colorado Boulder in March 2021.
