Haris Iqbal

Haris Iqbal has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Haris started their career in 2008 as a Summer Associate in Brand Marketing at Pakistan State Oil Company (PSO). In 2009, they worked as a Summer Associate in Sales at Engro Foods Limited, where they conducted a feasibility project on establishing a satellite warehouse.

From 2010 to 2013, Haris worked as a Business Development Manager at Quality Reliance (Middle East) Management, where they consistently exceeded sales targets and led the development of sales management procedures and marketing strategies. Haris also successfully launched Green Crescent Environment Consultancy and played a key role in implementing the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

In 2014, Haris joined Dulsco as a Senior Commercial Executive and later became the Assistant Commercial Manager. Haris had P&L accountability for the waste management services division in Abu Dhabi and contributed to the company's success.

At EY, Haris worked as an MBA Project Consultant in 2017, before returning to Dulsco in 2017 as the Head of Sales. In this role, they worked closely with the Chief Innovation Officer to identify and develop strategic business opportunities and led the task force team to streamline operations for Dulsco's waste treatment plants. Haris also led the bid team for waste management tenders.

Since 2019, Haris has served as the Head of Expo 2020 Project and the Operations Director at Dulsco. In these roles, they have been responsible for leading the operations and contract for Dulsco's waste management project at Dubai Expo 2020. Haris has managed the operations team, designed and executed waste management strategies, and overseen the delivery and operations of Dulsco's central waste facility at the expo.

Haris Iqbal completed their education in a chronological order. Haris obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School during the period of 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2010, they pursued a BSc. degree in Economics & Mathematics at Lahore University of Management Sciences. In their earlier years, from 2004 to 2006, they completed their A Levels at Beaconhouse Public School in Karachi, Pakistan.

In September 2020, they obtained certifications in Accounting Analytics, People Analytics, and Customer Analytics from the University of Pennsylvania Online through Coursera.
