Cortland C. Putbrese

Cortland C. Putbrese is a highly experienced legal professional with a diverse background in law practice and education. Since 2012, Putbrese has served as a Partner at Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig PLLC. Previously, Putbrese was a Substitute Judge for the City of Richmond General District Court from 2018 to 2019, and an Adjunct Associate Professor of Law at the University of Richmond School of Law from 2005 to 2013. Additional experience includes positions as Senior Counsel at Morison & Prough, LLP from 2005 to 2012, and as an Associate at McGuireWoods LLP from 2000 to 2005. Putbrese earned a Juris Doctor from Washington and Lee University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Government, graduating with High Distinction from the University of Virginia.
