Dunlop Sports Co Ltd is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the provision of sports products. The Company operates in two business segments. The Sports Product segment is engaged in the purchase and production of golf clubs, as well as the planning, development and manufacture of golf balls, golf shoes, caddie bags, gloves, tennis balls and rackets. This segment is also engaged in the sale of its sports products to sports specialty stores and mass retailers in Japan and overseas, and the licensing business including the provision of DUNLOP MOTORSPORT brand to sportswear and sports shoes manufacturers. The Service and Golf Course Operation segment operates golf tournaments, golf and tennis schools, as well as golf courses. As of December 31, 2012, the Company had 20 subsidiaries and four associated companies.
