Arsalaan Ansari

Arsalaan Ansari has a diverse work experience in various technology roles. Arsalaan started as a Data Science Intern at Correlation One in 2017, where they developed recruitment tools using Machine Learning and built a Flask backend application for a personalized resume grader. In 2018, they worked as a Cloud Computing Intern at IBM, where they developed Kubernetes and Docker cloud computing microservice backends and created a Neural Network time series model for predicting website visitors. Arsalaan also had meetings with IBM Cloud leadership for integration purposes. From 2016 to 2019, Arsalaan worked at Columbia Daily Spectator as the Head of Engineering, leading product ideation and managing a team of React-Native engineers for developing the Ivy League newspaper's mobile application. Finally, Arsalaan is currently employed at Duolingo since 2020, initially as a Software Engineering Intern, and then as a Software Engineer I and II, working on various features for the Android application using Kotlin, RxJava, Python Flask, and PostgreSQL.
