Ash Guillaume

Ash Guillaume has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of design. They are currently working at Duolingo as a Senior Product Designer. Prior to that, they worked at GitHub, where they held two roles. As a Senior Systems Designer, Ash led and maintained the implementation of Primer, GitHub's design system. They also introduced and built Primer Presentations, which became the foundation for all of GitHub's presentations.

Before GitHub, Ash worked as a Visual Designer at Postman, supporting brand and marketing initiatives. They also had several years of freelance design experience.

Ash's earlier career included roles such as Staffing Executive and Creative Recruiting Manager at The Creative Group, Front-Lines at General Assembly, and Lead Graphic Designer at Craftworks Taphouse & Bistro. They also worked as a Graphic and Web Designer at Enswers, Inc, where they handled various creative projects for Soompi, a K-Pop news network.

Ash began their career as a Lead Designer at Disrupt Corp. and later worked as a Web Designer at Situation Interactive, where they focused on designing UI for live entertainment platforms.

Ash Guillaume attended Full Sail University from 2004 to 2005, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Digital Media. In 2015, they also received a Certificate of Completion in Front-End Web Development from General Assembly.
