Corazon Recto

Corazon Recto has a diverse work experience in the education field. They have worked as a Quality Control Specialist (Contract) at Duolingo since October 2022. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at EF Education First, including Senior Director of Studies, Senior Centre Education Manager, and Centre Education Manager. They also worked as an English Trainer at EF Education First. Before joining EF Education First, Corazon worked as a Teacher at Kostka School of Quezon City from May 2009 to February 2011. They also worked as an English Teacher at Centre for International Education from May 2007 to April 2008.

Corazon Recto's education history is as follows:

From 2019 to 2020, Corazon attended The University of Queensland and completed an International Diploma of Language Teaching Management, specializing in Educational Leadership and Administration.

From 2016 to 2019, Corazon studied at Trinity College London and obtained a Diploma in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

In 2012, Corazon attended the University of Cambridge and completed the Teaching Knowledge Test, focusing on Module 1: Language and Background to Language Learning and Teaching.

In 2011, Corazon received a Certificate in TESOL from TESOL Asia.

Between 2009 and 2011, Corazon pursued a Certificate in Professional Education at the University of the Philippines, specializing in Educational Psychology and Reading Education.

From 2003 to 2007, Corazon obtained a BA in English Studies from the University of the Philippines, with a specific focus on Language.

Currently, in 2021, Corazon is pursuing a Master's Degree in Distance Education at the University of the Philippines Open University.
