Hamant Singh

Hamant Singh has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Hamant began their career in education as a High School and Junior School English Teacher at Singapore International School Mandalay in 2011, and then moved on to Singapore International School Yangon in 2012 where they held multiple roles including Head of High School, Centre Manager, Lecturer, and English Teacher. In 2015, they joined the Phuket Has Been Good To Us Foundation as an English Teacher before transitioning to The Learning Point Kidz Preschool in 2017 as a Head Teacher. Hamant then returned to the Phuket Has Been Good To Us Foundation in 2019 as an English Teacher. Most recently, in 2020, they worked as a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist (Contract) at Duolingo.

Hamant Singh's education history begins in 1999 when they attended St. Andrew's School, where they obtained their GCE 'O' Levels qualification in 2002. Hamant then pursued further studies at Catholic Junior College from 2003 to 2004, where they completed their 'GCE A' Levels. In 2007, they enrolled at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree in English Language and Literature, General in 2011. Moving forward, in 2014, Hamant attended the London Teacher Training College and obtained a Diploma in Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages, specializing in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor. Finally, from 2017 to 2022, they pursued a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Education from the University of South Wales.
