Jared Long

Jared Long MBA has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. Beginning in 2010, they worked at Kohls as an Assistant Store Manager and later as a Manager, responsible for overseeing multiple departments and employee development. In 2011, Jared joined Apple Retail as a Manager, where they managed operations and customer service.

From 2013 to 2016, Jared was the CEO and Founder of The Indie Grow Project, an arts-focused organization that promoted independent artists and musicians through events, web content creation, and social media management. During this time, they also handled e-commerce, shipping, and talent acquisition.

In 2016, Jared joined Apple as a Senior Manager, showcasing their leadership abilities within the company. From 2017 to 2022, they held various roles at Netflix, including Talent Coordinators Manager and Talent Operations Business Analyst. In these positions, Jared was responsible for project management, improving business processes, and developing internal recruiting tools.

Most recently, in 2022, Jared began working at Duolingo as the Director of Talent Acquisition Operations. Overall, Jared has demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, project management, and business operations throughout their career.

Jared Long MBA completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Executive studies from Washington State University between 2015 and 2016. Prior to that, they received their Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing and Management from Sonoma State University, which they pursued from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Jared has obtained certifications in Data Analytics: Dashboards vs. Data Stories and Statistics Foundations 1: The Basics, both from LinkedIn, in December 2022.
