Sean Beauford

Sean Beauford is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in community engagement and the arts. Currently serving as a Community Engagement Specialist at Duolingo since January 2022, Sean has also contributed as an Adjunct Professor of Art at Carnegie Mellon University from January 2023 to June 2024. Prior experience includes managerial roles at the Carnegie Museum of Art, including Manager of Community Relationships and Manager of Teen Programs, as well as a Curator in Residence at the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh. Sean has held positions as a Digital Marketing Coordinator at Mattress Factory and as a Patron Services Manager at the Kelly Strayhorn Theater, with an initial role as an intern at the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council.
