Greg Schwarze

Greg Schwarze has extensive experience in public service and emergency management. Currently serving as a DuPage County Board Member since December 2020, Greg holds the position of Chair for the Human Services and the Emergency Telephone System Board, and is involved in several committees including Judicial - Public Safety, Intergovernmental, Finance, Collective Bargaining, and the DuPage Council for Strengthening the System for Mental Health and Substance Use Care. Prior to this, Greg worked as a Career Firefighter/Paramedic for the Carol Stream Fire District from 1999 to 2021 and served as a Firefighter at the Monmouth Fire Department Inc from 1993 to 1999. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Illinois State University, earned between August 1984 and May 1989.
