Laura Burger

Laura Burger's work experience is as follows:

1. Manager | Sustainability Strategy at dss+ since October 2021 (current position)

2. Sustainability Consultant at SOFIES from March 2019 to September 2021. Laura was a member of the Swiss team, providing support to private organizations in addressing sustainability challenges.

3. Resource Manager at Shopperts from November 2014 to December 2017. Laura supported the development of the startup resellme.in (previously shopperts.in) in the mobile and social commerce space.

4. Sustainability Consultant at SOFIES from December 2012 to December 2016. Laura was part of the Indian team and provided support to firms and organizations in addressing sustainability challenges, particularly in e-waste management.

5. Academic Collaborator at Université de Lausanne - UNIL from April 2013 to December 2014. Laura worked as a Material Flow Analysis consultant on a project related to sustainable food consumption dynamics in South/Southeast Asia.

6. Academic staff at ETH Zurich in September and November 2012.

7. Intern at Agroscope Reckenholz-Tänikon Research Station ART from April to November 2011. Laura worked on a soil sampling project in collaboration with the Swiss Soil Monitoring Network.

Laura Burger obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences from ETH Zürich between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in the same field at ETH Zürich from 2006 to 2010. In 2008, they participated in an exchange semester at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, though the field of study for that semester is not specified. In January 2023, Laura obtained the GRI Certified Sustainability Professional certification from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
