Marco Hönig

Marco Hönig has an extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Marco currently serves as the Global Capability Development Director at dss+, a leading provider of operations management consulting services. In this role, their focus is on elevating the way the company builds capabilities across global teams. Prior to this, Marco worked at Evalea GmbH as a Member of the Board of Advisors and at LEADING EMPLOYERS in the same capacity.

Marco has also held multiple positions at EY. Marco served as the Global Knowledge People and Professional Development Leader, where they were responsible for the company's global people, talent development, and learning programs. Marco also worked as the Professional Development & Learning Global Program Leader (Knowledge) - Associate Director, where they built and expanded professional development and talent management programs.

Before joining EY, Marco worked at Egon Zehnder as the Director of Research and at McKinsey & Company in various roles. At McKinsey, they served as the Global Manager of Learning, Training & Professional Development, where they created and developed global professional development and learning solutions. Marco also worked as a Global Knowledge Network Learning Expert, managing and advising on globally hosted training programs.

Marco began their career at Hochschule München as a Librarian, system administrator, and information specialist.

Marco Hönig obtained a Diplom in Library and Information Science from Bayerische Biblotheksschule (FH) München / University of Applied Sciences. The education took place from 1994 to 1997. Additionally, they obtained a certification as an MBTI Practitioner from OPP in January 2008.
