Michel Stachnik

New Applications Leader - Principal Investigator at DuPont

Michel Stachnik is an experienced professional in materials science and engineering with a focus on developing innovative applications and processes in the chemical and materials industry. Currently serving as the New Applications Leader and Principal Investigator at DuPont since October 2014, Stachnik is dedicated to the development of flame retardant protective materials and supporting various projects in the Water & Protection business. Previous roles at DuPont included Research Investigator for surface treatments of Aramid fibers, New Application Leader for Typar(R) landscape fabrics, Application Specialist for Tyvek(R) products, and New Process Development Engineer for both Typar(R) and Tyvek(R), contributing to significant advancements and commercialization of new technologies. Stachnik holds a PhD in Physics and Chemistry of Solid Surfaces and Materials from the University of Alsace, along with degrees in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from prestigious institutions, including ENSIC and the Polytechnic School of Krakow.
