Marcel Berkhout

Marcel Berkhout has extensive experience in the field of information technology and security. Marcel has held various positions in renowned companies such as Duracell Inc., Dover Corporation, and Ingersoll Rand.

At Duracell Inc., Marcel served as the Sr. Director of Information Security and IT Lead for Manufacturing Excellence. In this role, they were responsible for managing the end-to-end infrastructure and information security in an outsourced environment.

Prior to that, Marcel worked as the Global Director of Infrastructure & Security at Duracell Inc. During this time, they played a crucial role in building a new IT department and establishing a comprehensive security program.

Before joining Duracell Inc., Marcel worked for Dover Corporation as the Vice President of Corporate IT. Marcel also served at Ingersoll Rand, where they held several positions including Global Director of Infrastructure Operations and Manager of Technical Services.

Throughout their career, Marcel has demonstrated strong leadership skills, managing large teams and substantial budgets. Marcel has successfully led various initiatives to optimize operations, reduce costs, and improve service quality in global settings.

Marcel Berkhout has attended Han Fortman College in The Netherlands. In 2018, they completed a CISSP Boot camp at SANS Technology Institute. Marcel also pursued Lean Six Sigma at Villanova University and obtained an ITIL masters certificate from ISEB. Marcel has also participated in the Mahler Executive Leadership Program. Currently, Marcel is in the process of completing CAPM training.
