Steve Nevener has over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. Steve started their career in 1997 as a Distribution Sales Representative for Baxter Healthcare. In 1999, they moved to Stryker as an Endoscopy Sales Representative. In 2000, they joined Biomet as a Sales Representative, where they were responsible for regional sales of total joint implants and orthopedic trauma. In 2005, they moved to Medtronic as an Energy Sales Representative. In 2009, they joined Johnson & Johnson as a Surgical Specialist. In 2012, they moved to Cubist Pharmaceuticals as a Clinical Sales Manager. In 2013, they joined Medical Specialties as a Regional Sales Manager. In 2017, they joined Biocomposites as a Market Development Manager, where they were responsible for managing regional distributors and increasing awareness and sales in new and existing accounts within the state of Colorado and Utah. In 2021, they became the Western Regional Market Development Manager for DuraStat. In 2019, they founded uncii, where they currently serve as the Founder and CEO.

Steve Nevener obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Oklahoma Baptist University between 1992 and 1996. Steve then pursued an MBA in Marketing and Management from Regis University from 2012 to 2013. Steve also holds a Nurse Technician certification.
