Cassandra DeMarshall, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple companies. Cassandra began their career as a Microbiology Analyst at EMLab P&K in 2008, where they were responsible for project-specific microbial analysis, assay design and development, and preparation of media, reagents, standards, and stock cultures. After two years, they transitioned to the New Jersey Institute for Successful Aging as a Postdoctoral Fellow, working there from 2016 to 2019. Most recently, they joined Durin Technologies, Inc. in 2019 as a Senior Scientist, and later progressed to the role of Principal Scientist. Currently, they serve as the Director of Research at Durin Technologies.
Cassandra DeMarshall, PhD, obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cell and Molecular Biology from Rowan University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (MS) in Biomedical Science at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey from 2010 to 2012. Cassandra's education journey began at Rutgers University, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Cell Biology and Neuroscience from 2006 to 2008.
