Ankita Asai has a diverse work experience. Ankita co-founded DusMinute in 2019, serving as the Chief Product Officer. DusMinute is a hyperlocal commerce platform that focuses on grocery and value-added services within gated communities. Ankita is passionate about creating user-centric products and technology.

Prior to DusMinute, Ankita co-founded Gapoon in 2015 and served as the Chief Marketing Officer. Gapoon offers subscription-based maintenance services for infrastructure and executes interior projects. They cater to various industries such as property management, hospitality, and co-working spaces.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Ankita worked at Schlumberger as a Wireline Field Engineer from 2014 to 2015. Ankita managed operations for ONGC and OIL India Ltd., overseeing critical formation data acquisition for oil-fields. Ankita also mentored junior engineers and supervised a team of operators.

In 2013, Ankita interned at Teach For India, an organization aiming to combat educational inequity. Ankita worked with the National Development Team, focusing on strategic planning for fundraising. Ankita also volunteered in under-resourced schools to contribute to bridging the education gap.

Ankita gained real-world experience in oil-field engineering as an intern at Schlumberger in 2012. Ankita visited rig sites and witnessed cementing jobs at Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh.
