Agneya Loya has held numerous roles in the engineering and construction industry since 2014. In that year, they were the Web Design Manager for Aakaar at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and a Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Programming at the same institute. In 2015, they were a Summer Research Intern at Ryerson University and a Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Programming on a MOOC platform at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. In 2016, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Industrialized Construction and Infrastructure Project Development at Stanford University, as well as a Teaching Assistant for Engineering Mechanics at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Agneya was also the President of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) Stanford Chapter. In 2017, they were a Project Controls and Sustainability Engineer at The Allen Group, LLC. In 2018, they were an MEPF & VDC Engineer (Project Delivery) and an Engineer (Preconstruction) at Clark Construction Group, LLC. Finally, in 2020, they were a Business Process Analyst & Product Manager at DPR Construction, where they led the full product development lifecycle for an internal workforce management web application over two years.

Agneya Loya's education history includes attending Nath Valley School from 2000 to 2011, where they completed grades I to XI. In 2012, they attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Civil Engineering in 2016. In the same year, they began attending Stanford University, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Sustainable Design and Construction (Civil Engineering) in 2018. Agneya is currently enrolled in an online Master of Science (MS) program in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they are expected to complete in 2023. Additionally, Agneya has obtained numerous certifications from edX and LinkedIn since 2019, including Data Science for Construction, Architecture and Engineering from edX in 2020 and Group 2 Social/Behavioral Research Investigators and Key Personnel from the CITI Program in 2022.
