David Morris

David Morris has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries and roles. David started their career in the United States Air Force as a Sergeant and Avionics Technician, where they scheduled and supervised repairs of electronic navigation systems. After their military service, David worked as a Logistics Intern at Metropolitan Edison before joining Penn State University as a Nabisco Scholar and Research Assistant. David later became a TQM Team Member, teaching lessons on warehousing and terminal management principles.

In 1994, David began their career at Ford Motor Company, starting as a Production Control Specialist and eventually becoming a Senior Production Control Specialist. Their responsibilities included conducting variance analyses, supplier management, and preparing manufacturing plans for new model programs.

In 1996, David joined The Hershey Company where they held various roles, including Production Supply Analyst, Senior Production Planner, Senior Marketing Analyst, Demand Planning Team Manager, Senior Manager of Nut, Flour, and Coconut Procurement, and ultimately Director of Global Dairy and Nut Sourcing. In these roles, they managed forecast responsibilities, developed purchasing strategies, and worked with Hershey’s supply base in the dairy, nut, flour, and coconut industries.

David's most recent role was as the Sr. Vice President of Procurement at Dutch Valley Food Distributors Inc., starting in 2016. Unfortunately, no specific information about their responsibilities in this role is provided.
