Graham Lane has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and organizations. In 1996, they served as the Director of Business Development and Sales at Dataline Visual Link Pty Ltd. From 1998 to 2015, they held the position of President at Perth Polocrosse Club, a role that involved overseeing the operations and development of the club. In 2008, they became a member of TEC 45, a business networking organization, where they stayed until 2015.
Starting in 2011, Graham took on leadership roles in the Polocrosse Association of Western Australia, serving as the Snr Vice President from 2011 to 2013, and later as the President from 2013 to 2019. Graham contributed to the growth and promotion of polocrosse, a horseback game, by focusing on inclusive and safe environments for participants of all ages and abilities.
In 2014, Graham became the Vice President of AIDN-WA, an advocacy group for businesses entering the defense supply chain. Graham actively represented members' interests by engaging with government agencies and facilitating dialogue with the Department of Defense.
In 2015, they joined the governing council of Kimberley Training Institute, the largest Registered Training Organization (RTO) in the Kimberley region, where they played a key role in providing quality industry-endorsed qualifications. Graham served on the governing council until 2016.
From 2016 to 2018, they were involved with the Governor Stirling Senior High School, initially as a Board Member and later as the Chairperson of the IPS School Board. This specialist school offered flexible educational programs to meet the diverse needs and interests of its students.
In 2019, Graham took on the role of President in the Polocrosse Association of Australia, a position they are expected to hold until 2023. As President, they aim to promote the fast-paced and exciting game of polocrosse on a national level, enhancing skill development and competitiveness in the sport.
Graham Lane attended Gosnells from 1976 to 1978, although they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study during their time there.
