Murdo Morrison has a diverse and extensive work experience in the publishing industry. Murdo started their career in 1987 as a Reporter for Commercial Motor, where they later became the Features Editor and Assistant Editor for News & Features. In 1992, they joined Car & Accessory Trader magazine as an Editor, and in 1994, they became the Deputy Editor of PrintWeek. In 1995, they took on the role of Editor for Planning Week at Haymarket Publishing before moving to Motor Trader magazine as an Editor. While at Motor Trader, they led a team of journalists and hosted the annual awards night. In 2001, they joined Flightglobal, RBI as the Editor of Flight International. Murdo managed a team and represented the brand in the aviation industry, earning the Aerospace Journalist of the Year award in 2010. In 2015, they became the Head of Strategic Content at DVV Media Group, where they managed content partnerships, coordinated thought leadership, edited air show daily newspapers, and wrote features for Flight International and flightglobal.com. Murdo continues to contribute to the aviation industry through their role at DVV Media Group.
Murdo Morrison's education history includes obtaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism Studies from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 1986 to 1987. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts with Honors (MA hons) in Politics at the University of Glasgow from 1982 to 1986.
