Rachel Deutsch-Brusky is an experienced Visual Arts Teacher at Dwight-Englewood School, specializing in Studio Art for grades 6-12 and co-teaching Physical Computing for 7th graders. In addition to teaching, Rachel serves as the Director of Visual Arts for summer programs focused on young children. Rachel also operates a self-owned art studio, providing instruction in various artistic techniques to K-12 students and adults, while assisting with college portfolio preparations. As the owner of Rachel Deutsch-Brusky Fine Art, Rachel creates commissioned portraits, landscapes, and murals. Additionally, Rachel manages the NYC Regional Arts in Healthcare website, developing content and resources for the arts community. Previous experience includes serving as an Artist-in-Residence at Wilma's Studio Art Program, where Rachel engaged pediatric patients in creative projects, and working as Art Director for SoHo Publishing. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design and a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from the New York Academy of Art.
