Laura Challman Anderson

Laura Challman Anderson is a seasoned professional with over four decades of experience at IBM, where Laura Challman has held various roles including Staff Research Scientist and Research Staff Member at IBM Research - Almaden since 1982. Anderson's work focuses on studying scientific and technical teams, emphasizing collaboration, information sharing, and enabling scientific discovery. Prior to their current roles, Anderson served in managerial positions at IBM Research from 1982 to 2011, including Customer Engagement Manager and Business Intelligence Solutions Project Manager. Academically, Anderson earned a PhD in Information Ecology from Queensland University of Technology, alongside a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Pace University and a Master of Library Science from Syracuse University.
