Richard Chalk

Richard Chalk has an extensive work experience in the water industry. Richard is currently working as the Head of Leakage and PCC Reporting at Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water since April 2023. Prior to this, they were the Director of Mease Limited, an environmental consultancy focusing on clean water distribution operations, strategy, and regulation. Richard started working at Mease Limited in October 2010. Before that, Richard was the Leakage Strategy Manager at Severn Trent Water from May 2007 to December 2010. Richard also worked as a Senior Utility Consultant at WRc plc from 2005 to 2007. Richard's earlier experiences include working as a Project Engineer at PN Daly Limited from February 2001 to February 2005, as well as working in leak detection roles at Thames Water from 1999 to 2005 and H2 Operations from 1998 to 2001.

Richard Chalk completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Portsmouth, from 1994 to 1997.
