Anas Essahal

Anas Essahal is currently the Director of Client Coverage Middle East and Africa at DWS Group. Prior to this role, Anas was the Head of Risk and Performance in the Investment Department at the General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSAAE). Anas has also held positions such as Risk Management Senior Consultant at MSCI Inc., Investment Risk Manager at Lyxor Asset Management, and Front Office Pricing & Trading Analyst at SGCIB. Anas is well-educated, holding a Master's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from ENSEIRB-MATMECA, a Master's degree in Financial Engineering from Université de Bordeaux, and additional qualifications in Islamic Finance and Banking from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments (UK). Throughout their career, Anas has demonstrated expertise in risk management, investment performance, compliance, and financial engineering.
