Wssam Hassan

Wssam Hassan has a strong background in data science and machine learning. Wssam has recently worked at DXwand as a Cognitive AI Engineer and Data Scientist, where they are responsible for various phases of data science pipeline, including researching, experimentation, and productization. Wssam specializes in Natural Language Processing (NLP) projects and components, such as entity extraction and intent classification, and is involved in designing and implementing novel machine learning algorithms.

Prior to that, Wssam worked as a Data Science Intern at Zummit Infolabs, where they gained experience in machine learning, deep learning, and emerging technologies. Wssam also developed and integrated the auto-pilot system for auto-driving cars.

Wssam Hassan completed their Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering, Suez University, which lasted from 2014 to 2019. Following this, in 2021, they attended the Information Technology Institute (ITI) where they pursued a Postgraduate Degree in Artificial Intelligence and graduated in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Wssam obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Wssam completed the "Machine Learning" course from Coursera in May 2022, the "Machine Learning Cross-Skillling" course from Udacity in January 2022, and the "AWS Academy Cloud Foundations" and "AWS Academy Machine Learning Foundations" programs offered by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2021.

Furthermore, Wssam achieved certifications in various areas of Data Science and programming. Wssam obtained the "Data Scientist with Python Track" certification from DataCamp in October 2021. Wssam completed courses in "Intermediate Machine Learning," "Intro to Machine Learning," and "Python" from Kaggle in August 2021. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "Statistics Fundamentals with Python Track" from DataCamp in July 2021, "Java Development SE" from Mahara-Tech in June 2021, "Python Fundamentals Track" from DataCamp in June 2021, and "Database Fundamentals" from Mahara-Tech in April 2021.
